Setup your NuQloud Account + Decentralized Auth

Apr 30, 2026 105 views

This is a simple guide on setting up your NuQloud Account, and dealing with your decentralized authentication file.

There is a screenshot guide here - https://nuqloud.cloud/apps/collectives/p/4Bz9KBs9f5WWAC6/NuQloud-Guides-1/New-Account-Creation-Invite-Token-1491

Setting up your NuQloud account is very straightforward, but there are a few key things to remember. This guide walks you through that, and you can click the link above to see screenshots of the entire process. More guides like this will be coming as time goes on. Thank you for your support of CHD and NuQloud!

Step 1 - Your Invite Token

The first step is to Check your E-Mail for your Welcome E-Mail from NuQloud Support. There, you will see a link to the NuQloud instance you were assigned to, and your invite token.

  • Copy your invite token for the next step.

Step 2 - Fill out the New User Form

Click 'NuQloud Login' button on the authentication page of your new instance, and click 'New Cloud Users' button. Then fill out the form.

  • Paste your Invite token into the correct input location
  • Add your user ID you would like and a Display Name if you choose
  • Add the SAME EMAIL you used on the payment system (so the instance is 'aware' of your existence) and automatically connects you to the correct payment system account.

Step 3 - Download your Decentralized Auth Backup File

This will take place AUTOMATICALLY. Do not worry if you miss it, you can do it again at any point from the NuQloud Dashboard. (See the screenshot guide for details.)

That's it! If you have any issues you may reach out to our locally run AI support at support@nuqloud.com

You will need your decentralized auth backup file and password from any new device/browser you authenticate from. Existing ones you have authenticated from in the past, will have your backup file saved encrypted in the browser. So you will only need to click it and input your password. But on a NEW device you will need the decentralized auth backup file AND password for the first authentication.
